Help Tyler Get a Wheelchair Van

*skip to 4:50 on video to learn more about the chair*
Hi this is Tyler’s sister, Josie Barton. Tyler is such an adventurous 14 year old boy. He loves making friends, playing video games and watching youtube. Before Tyler was born, my parents found out he had something called Pfeiffer syndrome, which is premature fusion of your skull bones. While Tyler was having brain surgery at 1 week old, he suffered from a brain bleed which compromised his fine motor skills, such as walking and talking. Tyler has been in a wheelchair his whole life. That hasn’t stopped him from wanting to go out with his friends on a Friday night or wanting to stop at the gas station to get a slushee. As he has gotten older and bigger, so has his wheelchair. My parents can no longer fit his chair into our small pathfinder. If my parents want to go out with Ty, or even just to a simple doctors appointment, they have to always have two people there. It’s been a struggle for our whole family to lift this chair into the car.
I am trying to surprise my parents and Tyler with enough money to afford the wheelchair accessible van that is long overdue. I will be doing a lot of fundraising to get the funds, but this go fund me is here just in case that is easier for some. I cannot thank everyone enough for being there for my family through everything. We love you all
PS PLEASE KEEP THIS A SECRET FROM MY FAMILY ! I CANNOT WAIT TO SURPRISE THEM.
