Herstel & Hoop in Bosnië

Inzamelingsactie voor humanitaire hulp in Bosnië

Mijn naam is Jasper van Schaik en ik ben student in het laatste jaar van de opleiding Veiligheid en Vakmanschap aan het ROC Midden Nederland. Op 1 juni vertrek ik samen met mijn klasgenoten en de stichting Out of Area naar Bosnië om daar vrijwilligerswerk te verrichten en meer te leren over de historie van het land.

Hoewel er jaren zijn verstreken sinds de oorlog in Bosnië, zijn de gevolgen nog steeds zichtbaar. Veel scholen verkeren in vervallen staat, speelplekken zijn beschadigd en er is een ernstig tekort aan middelen voor goed onderwijs. Met ons project willen wij bijdragen aan de wederopbouw door scholen op te knappen, speelplekken te herstellen en de gemeenschap te ondersteunen.

Deze missie is voor ons niet alleen een kans om iets terug te doen voor de mensen in Bosnië, maar ook een leerzame ervaring die ons voorbereidt op ons toekomstige werk binnen Defensie, waar humanitaire hulp een essentiële rol speelt.

Wij hopen met onze inzet een blijvend verschil te maken in de levens van de kinderen en hun gemeenschap. Echter, voor het realiseren van deze doelen hebben we jouw steun hard nodig. Wij doen een oproep voor financiële donaties om de reis te bekostigen en de benodigde materialen en middelen aan te schaffen en zo ons doel te bereiken.

Elke bijdrage, groot of klein, helpt ons om een positieve impact te maken in Bosnië. Samen kunnen we een verschil maken.

Fundraising Campaign for Humanitarian Aid in Bosnia

My name is Jasper van Schaik, and I am a student in the final year of the Safety and Craftsmanship program at ROC Midden Nederland. On June 1st, I will be traveling to Bosnia with my classmates and the foundation Out of Area to do volunteer work and learn more about the country’s history.

Although many years have passed since the war in Bosnia, the consequences are still visible. Many schools are in a state of disrepair, playgrounds are damaged, and there is a severe lack of resources for quality education. With our project, we aim to contribute to the rebuilding process by renovating schools, restoring playgrounds, and supporting the local community.

This mission is not only an opportunity for us to give back to the people of Bosnia but also a valuable learning experience that prepares us for our future careers in the military, where humanitarian aid plays a crucial role.

We hope to make a lasting difference in the lives of the children and their community with our efforts. However, in order to achieve our goals, we need your support. We are calling for financial donations to fund the trip and acquire the necessary materials and resources to reach our objective.
