Heron Landing Park Eagle Project - Troop 363

Hello, my name’s Gianni Chauppette and I am a Life Scout working towards my Eagle rank. My project is to order and install a binocular post at Heron Landing Park for the public to use and view the wildlife reserve. With my own binoculars, I have spotted many different species of wildlife near the vernal pools such as cows, ground squirrels, egrets, hawks, and many other various birds. The funds will be used to order the viewing post from SeeCoast Manufacturing Company.
The non-coin operated binocular post will be ADA compliant and will have customized stops to limit viewer head rotation.
Cordova Recreation & Parks Foundation enriches the lives and communities of our residents through charitable gifts in support of recreation and park programs of the Cordova Recreation & Park District.
