Heroes of the Hollers: Civilians Working to Restore WNC

Hello, my name is Jessica Kalwat and I have been working hand and foot with some of the most amazing people that have come from all over the United States to help us rebuild those effected in North Carolina by hurricane Helene.

I’ve been touched by several people donating their own time, tools and money rebuilding homes for those that lost everything. I have been working with them to coordinate supplies and tools that they need but we don’t have near enough resources or money for resources at this time.

All money donated will be spent to get the tools and necessities that are needed to clean up and rebuild in whatever way they need. I am also working closely with many different hardware stores where I am able to get substantial price drops as I work as a third party manager for them.

Please help us get these victims the help they need in a timely manner. It is about to get really cold and the victims deserve to have their own properties rebuilt. Many have been told there is no help for them. But there is! Because people like myself and many other regular citizens are there to help.

I myself live not very far from the hardest hit areas and I can assure everyone that we need help. Receipts will be posted for the tools and supplies purchased to help.
