Heroes Gallop for Autism in Racing
On Wednesday 28 October 2026, the racing community will come together at Nottingham Racecourse for the Heroes Gallop for Autism in Racing, a unique fundraising race that celebrates the power of sport, community and inclusion.
Ten members of the racing community will take to the track, not only to challenge themselves but to help raise vital funds that will enable Autism in Racing to continue creating opportunities for autistic people and their families across British racing.
Every donation made through this campaign will directly support the work of Autism in Racing, helping us create more welcoming environments, remove barriers to participation and ensure more autistic people can experience everything racing has to offer.
Meet Our Heroes
This year's Heroes Gallop brings together ten incredible members of the racing community, all united by one goal: making racing more accessible and inclusive.

About Autism in Racing
Autism in Racing is dedicated to making British racing more accessible, welcoming and inclusive for autistic people and their families.
We work alongside racecourses, industry partners and communities to remove barriers and create positive experiences through Autism Friendly Racedays, sensory spaces, mentoring, community events and education.
Since launching, we have supported hundreds of autistic people to enjoy racing in an environment where they feel understood, accepted and able to participate with confidence. We also work with racing organisations to improve autism awareness, creating lasting change across the sport.
Every donation helps us reach more families, develop new opportunities and ensure that more autistic people can experience everything racing has to offer.
How Your Donation Helps
Every contribution, no matter the amount, helps us continue delivering meaningful support across British racing.
Your donation will help us to:
- Deliver Autism Friendly Racedays across Britain.
- Create and enhance sensory spaces at racecourses.
- Support autistic children, adults and families to attend racing with confidence.
- Deliver mentoring and community programmes that reduce isolation and build confidence.
- Provide autism awareness training and resources across the racing industry.
- Develop new projects that create lasting opportunities for autistic people within racing.
