Hero Hut Foundational Build

What is Hero Hut?

Hero Hut is a one of a kind, collaborative, community space at nationwide events for the greater Veteran and First Responder community to network, build friendships, and gain access to resources, information, and connection to the greater community.  Some have called it a hospitality tent on steroids.

The Hero Hut Mission:

All too often Veterans enter life without the resources and community they so desperately need and deserve!  In an effort to change that, Hero Hut was born.  Founded by  Veterans and led by a diverse group of people, we create community spaces at events fro Veterans and First Responders to learn about services and opportunities available to them, build friendships, and forge a connection to their local community.

What truly sets us apart is our partnerships.  Hero Hut covers all costs, organizational endeavors and set up for these spaces.  Not only that, but we invite all Veteran focused  non-profits and government agencies to utilize our space for free.   Imagine the impact when thousands come through a Hero Hut at a PGA Tour event, or a Music Festival of over a 100,000 and you have a space to  relax with your family, network, and also learn about services and benefits available.   By 2022,  over 100,000 Veterans and 150 partner organizations will have utilized Hero Hut.  These services range from Veteran Affairs, to education, to job placement, to mental health, and more.  But Hero Hut is not just a place for Veterans - we take pride in building community and serving Military Service members, First Responders, their families and loved ones.

So whether you are a Veteran, love a Veteran, or simply want to help Veterans, you've come to the right place. Welcome to Hero Hut and thank you for your support!

Where can you find us:

We have plans to be at 18 major events and countless smaller events in the next year!  These range from our major events at the PGA Tour, Milwaukee Irish Fest,  Marathons,  major concerts, to Keeneland and College Bowl Games.  We also partner and support  small community building events in our local cities.

But we need your help!  To date, we are a complete volunteer organization and have funded all efforts internally and through generous donations through friends and family.  We are at the point where we are truly ready to take off.  We have a clothing line , we are outfitting each region with Regional Kits which include tents, banners, flyers, swag and more!  We also handle all the planning, staffing, and networking at each event we host.  Not only that, but Hero Hut allows dozens of local non-profits to set up shop in our Hero Hut areas free of charge.  So your donation not only allows us to fulfill our mission, but it helps countless other organizations to get their messages out there!

Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at a Hero Hut event this year!
