EARTHQUAKE VICTIMS NEED YOUR SUPPORT IN AFGANISTAN
Donation protected
We are reaching out to you with an urgent appeal for the people of Herat, Afghanistan. Just recently, a devastating earthquake struck the region, leaving behind a trail of destruction. Over 1,000 lives have been lost, and countless families are now without homes, food, or basic necessities.
The situation in Herat is dire. With the weather turning cold, these families are facing immense hardship. Children, in particular, are suffering, and there is an immediate need for shelter, warm clothing, and food.
The immense scale of this tragic event deeply moved me, prompting me to initiate a fundraising campaign to support the people of Herat. I partnered with my friends at Middlebury College, and we opted to utilize the GoFundMe platform for this endeavor.
Our aim is to collect donations not only from our peers at Middlebury College but also from individuals outside the college community. Additionally, we have established a collaborative relationship with a women's rights and solidarity organization based in Afghanistan. This organization will assist us in reaching out to the victims in Herat.
The fundraising campaign for Herat will be executed with the utmost care, and I will personally oversee its management. We will work closely with our trusted partners in Afghanistan to ensure that the assistance reaches those in need. Our commitment to transparency and a well-structured approach ensures that your generous contributions will be used effectively and responsibly.
We can make a difference. Your support can help provide much-needed relief to those affected by this tragedy. Every contribution, no matter how small, can go a long way in providing comfort and assistance to those in need.
Please consider donating to our relief fund for Herat. Your generosity can help save lives and provide hope to a community in crisis.
Let's come together and show our solidarity with the people of Herat during this difficult time. Your support is greatly appreciated.
