Who are we

We are Cynthia and James, children of our beloved, now deceased, mother, Tania. We never imagined we would be in this position. At a time when we should have been able to protect and care for our mother, circumstances made it impossible, and we believe that those she trusted did not uphold her best interests. Instead of finding fairness, we are facing a system that too often rewards money and power over truth.

Why We Need Help Now

For more than three years, we have been engaged in an extremely costly legal battle, involving hundreds of hearings and extensive discovery; however, the core events surrounding our mother’s passing have never been presented in court. At last, a due process evidentiary hearing is ahead. This is our chance to present evidence to protect ourselves from unjust sanctions and ensure the truth, as supported by evidence, is preserved on appeal.

All funds will be deposited into a dedicated personal bank account opened solely for this legal effort (organizer: Cynthia Lazara Cintrón). We will provide updates on milestones and spending as the case moves forward. Donations are not tax-deductible. Only minimal costs for essential promotion and production of Her Name Was Tania will be used to ensure the campaign reaches the audience needed to raise funds.
