Henry's Wishes

My name is Shelley (Moon), I am reaching out on behave of my brother-in-law Henry and my sister Lisa (Hubers).

Henry was diagnosed with Pancreatic Cancer in March of 2022, he has been off work since that time. Where he has endured 7 months of Chemotherapy and numerous tests and appointments. Henry has taken this battle head-on and has been fighting to the extreme with Lisa by his side. Since before Christmas, he has been awaiting the doctors to determine his next steps. 2023 started with the implementation of 28 cycles of Radiation coupled with a Chemo Medication to help slow down the process of this terrible Cancer. Henry and Lisa have done their best to remain positive throughout this whole process so far without reaching out for any assistance.

It's not that they didn't put money away for their future because they did that's what they have been using to get them this far. Lisa was able to take the needed time off work for the first part of this battle through the chemotherapy stage. She needs to be there for Henry as he starts his next round of appointments/treatments.

They have just learned that the above treatment is to buy more time only, Henry has now been given 3 months to a year his only wish is that Lisa can be with him at his side.

Unfortunately, she cannot do this without OUR help.

Henry and Lisa have worked hard they have made a good life, paid their bills, saved for the future and supported others along the way.

As I am sure we can all agree when it comes down to an illness like this and your trying to overcome the reality of what you are facing together yet also have to think about your income over the health, love and care of your partner is not something you should have to make.

I am setting up this Go Fund Me Page in hopes that we can help Henry with his wish for Lisa to be by his side.

Unfortunately, Lisa is now faced with no other option but to return to work at this time as she has exhausted all her vacation, sick and compassionate care leave at this time.
