On 28th September 2025, I’ll be taking on my biggest challenge yet . I’m running the Swindon Half Marathon!

This isn’t just about testing my limits. I’m also running to raise money for a cause that’s close to my heart. The Stroke Association.

When I was just 6 years old, my Grandad suffered a severe stroke. It changed everything. It left him unable to even recognise those he loved most. My late Auntie Iris cared for him selflessly during the four years he spent in hospice care before he eventually passed away in 2016. I visited him often, and each time, the bond we once shared faded a little more into the background of his new reality.

This experience left a lasting impact on me, and that’s why I’m so passionate about supporting the Stroke Association and the vital work they do.
