Henning is Home: Help Replace Stolen Equipment
Donation protected
Henning Park is a place of great pride for the community of Caledonia. It's a not-for-profit, privately-owned facility dedicated to giving local youth a safe, supportive space to practice, play, and grow through baseball. Since opening, Henning Park has relied on the generosity of our community to keep its six diamonds maintained, the grass green, and the lights on.
But now, we need your help more than ever.
Last night (August 6, 2025), the park was broken into, and we’re heartbroken to report that over $70,000 in vital equipment was stolen, including a tractor, zero-turn mower, Milwaukee trimmers, batteries, chargers, and more. The thieves also cut through the locks on our batting cages and broke into every seacan, stealing keys to other equipment, indicating they may be planning to return.
This isn’t just a break-in.
This is stealing from our kids and our community.
The park’s maintenance and care is driven by the tireless work of Johnny, who ensures the diamonds are safe, clean, and game-ready. Unfortunately, theft insurance simply isn’t available for a setup like this as this is the third time we've been targeted.
We are still assessing the full extent of the damage, but what’s already confirmed is devastating.
Henning Park is where memories are made and dreams are realized, where young athletes take their first swings, make their first plays, and build lifelong friendships. It thrives only because of the support of people like you.
