Meet Hendrix, a sweet three-year-old Cane Corso from Virginia who is facing a painful challenge—a torn Cranial Cruciate ligament. Hendrix needs TPLO surgery to fix his right leg. His surgery is estimated to cost $6,239. Paws 4 A Cure is providing a $400 grant but his mom is trying to raise $5,000 for the remainder of the funds that Hendrix needs to move forward with the treatment.

Hendrix’s veterinarian is optimistic and believes he will have a full recovery after surgery. His loving mom has shared their heartfelt story, which you can read—along with more adorable photos and videos on Hendrix’s fundraising page.

You can help make a life-changing difference for Hendrix and his family by making a tax-deductible donation toward his veterinary care. Every dollar brings him closer to healing.

If you’re unable to donate, simply sharing his fundraising page helps spread the word and brings us closer to our goal.

Thank you for being a part of Hendrix’s journey. Let’s give him the chance he deserves.

“Hendrix is my 3-year-old blue Cane Corso, and he is the most loving, playful, and gentle soul. He began limping on his back leg after normal play, and what I initially thought was a minor strain quickly became something much more serious. After a full veterinary exam and x-rays, he was diagnosed with a torn CCL and now requires TPLO surgery, along with being neutered. He has already received pain medication and a surgical consultation, but he still urgently needs surgery, the neuter procedure, post-operative medications, follow-up visits, and several weeks of careful recovery to properly heal.
The total estimated cost of his care is $6,239. With the generous $400 Paws 4 A Cure grant, the remaining goal is $5,000 to help cover the surgery and recovery expenses so he can have a real chance at living pain-free again.

Hendrix came into my life during a time when I desperately needed strength and companionship. As someone battling rheumatoid arthritis (RA) at a young age, there are days when the pain feels overwhelming, but Hendrix gives me a reason to get up and keep going. He motivates me in ways I cannot fully explain. He is my protector, my comfort, and my purpose. This season has been especially hard because not being able to provide the care he needs on my own has been heartbreaking. Hendrix is not just my dog, he is my heart outside of my body. I am deeply grateful for anyone willing to donate, share, or support us. Your kindness will help him run, play, and live the healthy life he deserves.”
