Hendricks Family & Baby Banks

We know you’ve been kept up to speed on the Hendricks and Baby Banks in the last few weeks. As of mid-May, bloodwork returned a positive result indicating that Banks will have achondroplasia, but a diagnosis will not be confirmed until his birth. Martie is scheduled for a c-section on June 10, and will be busy with appointments and preparations in the coming weeks.

We are trying to think of ways to actively support them in this next month as they prep for his arrival and whatever it may bring.

There are still obviously a lot of unknowns, but one thing we can reasonably anticipate is an increase in expenses because of a variety of factors (Banks’ medical needs, potential accommodations, additional childcare for Knox/Davis, etc.)

We’re reaching out to the Hendrick’s closest friends (you!) to ask to help lighten their load financially. Our hope is that these gifts convey to them “You aren’t alone. God loves you. We love you. We’ll continue to be here in all of this”.

Simply trying to combine the resources we have and be the body of Jesus to our friends while they need us. Love you all.
