Thanks for coming here and considering helping us bring Baby Henderson home from Hungary. We have been married now for 9.5 years and have two amazing children, Anne Claire, who is 5, and Ella who is 2.5. We have thought about what our family would ultimately look like for the last few years and even before our girls were born we were quite positive that one day we would adopt. After many months of prayer and discussion, we made the decision together that international adoption would be a part of our family's story.
Once the decision was made to pursue adoption, the details started falling into place in the midst of research, advice and prayer. We were accepted at the end of 2017 into the Eurasia program through Lifeline Children's Services based in Birmingham, AL. Their mission is to "equip the body of Christ to manifest the gospel to vulnerable children." We feel called to this journey and specifically to this agency. We are on track to be matched with a child in the beginning of 2019 and to be able to bring the child home, hopefully, in April or May of 2019 from the country of Hungary. We are committed to the process spiritually, emotionally and financially but we need our community to stand beside us as we pursue this calling. Our adoption journey will cost around $40,000. Through some gifts already given and some lifestyle and financial adjustments or our family's part, we are about halfway there. If you or your family feel led to financially partner with us in this cause we would be eternally grateful. These costs are specifically designated in three areas: Lifeline agency fees, Hungary stateside fees and finally travel costs once we are matched with our child.
