Support the Lancaster Public Library-Mountville Branch

The Lancaster Public Library is under attack for scheduling a family friendly Drag Queen Story Hour at the library. Two County Commissioners have publicly spoken out against the library .

We see dangerous attacks against the LGBTQIA+ community in our school district as well as the larger community. We have witnessed the horrific impact it has had on our youth in Lancaster. Now to punish the Lancaster Public Library for supporting the queer community, funding for the Mountville Branch of the public library is in jeopardy.

The Lancaster Public Library MUST be free to continue to uphold its mission to inspire, empower, and strengthen our community by connecting people with information, ideas, and enriching experiences. They should not have to compromise this mission in order to obtain the promised funding. Queer people, children and families exist everywhere, including HEMPFIELD!
