Hello,

We are Sana sano vzw. A Belgian non profit organisation that aims at supporting mental health in The Gambia. Our local partner Hemda (Help the mentally disabled association) reaches out to excluded people who are suffering from mental illness. They feed them, give them clean clothes and take them to doctors appointments. The organisation is founded by Maimuna Faal and is run solely by volunteers. To do this work, they rent cars or take taxi's. This costs a lot of money, it limits the area they can reach and it has also a negative impact on the speed in which they can reach somebody in crisis. To have there own vehicle could save a lot of money, hence creating the opportunity to do more outreaching, more food distribution and faster medical help.

With this action, we hope to use the strength of the internet and connect people all over the world, who have a heart for the people with mental illness in The Gambia.
