I would love to enlist some help in supporting someone who has recently found herself in a rather surprising set of circumstances. Due to some difficulties at home, two young boys aged 7 and 11 have been placed in the full time care of my friend, they are related but not closely. The boys are great kids, but pretty exhausting for a single 68 year old who was quietly going about retirement, living carefully off her pension and super. The boys arrived a month or so ago with not much but what they were wearing, and my friend has taken them in and cared for them since then - and this arrangement is currently indefinite.  They have had to start a new school, and she has had to cover the cost not just of feeding and clothing them, but also the typical back to school costs associated with 2 kids. School shoes, uniforms, lunch boxes, pencil cases etc. She has also enrolled them in activities such as scouts and cubs so they can make some friends locally. 
She is a wonderful and kind person, and I would like to help to ease the financial burden in this tricky situation. If you can help at all, it would be very much appreciated.
