Support Mohammed’s Family in Crisis

Hello! I’m Kathryn, organizing on behalf of Mohammed. Together we are reaching out to you with a heartfelt plea for support for Mohammed and his family, currently residing in the war-torn region of Khan Younis. Below is his heart-wrenching story.

My name is Mohammad Al-Qaddi, I live in the city of Rafah, and I have my family of 9 people. As a result of the bombing and war on my city, we displaced to the city of Khan Younis and lived in tents in very difficult humanitarian conditions in which the minimum necessities of simple life are not available.

Knowing that I have not had a job since the beginning of the war, we as a family ask you with all respect. Providing assistance and support to us, especially after the lack of security and safety, knowing that we are exposed at every moment to fear and destruction resulting from war.

And when i received the bad news about my home ,i would like to say that the War takes more than just buildings; it steals the stories, the love, and the history within, the Home was where I felt safe, where my family thrived. Now it’s a distant memory, scattered in the wind.

Losing a home is not just losing shelter, it’s losing the place where your heart once found peace, and The photographs, the laughter, the quiet moments, they’re gone with the house, leaving only emptiness.

My wife recently gave birth, and she was always in great fear about this, as the hospitals are collapsed, especially since there are no clothes for children and the prices of pampers are very high.

My friends, every moment we are exposed to fear, the sounds of planes, and bombing near us, and the conditions of daily life have become difficult and complicated due to high prices and hunger that is killing us all, and it is difficult to find what to eat.

We, my friends, are in a completely devastating psychological state because for a year and more we hear and see nothing but news of the killing, destruction, and displacement that we are subjected to over and over again, and we do not know whether we will return to the destroyed city of Rafah or what our fate will be like.

This month has been very difficult for us because we were not able to return to the city of Rafah due to the presence of the occupation there. We found our home destroyed, our memories and our dreams. We are in a very bad psychological state. We are tired.
