Hi, my name is Sammi and I’m fundraising to hopefully help myself and my Emotional Support Animal have a better life. I am recently single and going through an awful seperation from my common-law partner. He cheated on me and kicked us out since it was his family home. I’m currently on Long-Term Disabilty thanks to a traumatic brain injury and these payments are barely enough to make ends meet. On top of that, I struggle with several mental health disorders and physical ailments. We were forced to leave our home province and drive cross country to have a safe place to stay with friends. I packed what would fit in my car and had to leave everything I had worked for (building a life with my ex) behind. He only gave me a fraction of what all the items I left were worth, leaving me struggling financially.

We would be so grateful for any help we can get to start our new life in Alberta. Any funds will be used towards helping out with our current room and board, furniture, my ongoing medical treatments, and all the other little expenses that pop up when you move. Fingers crossed to raise enough to be able to start saving for our own apartment as well.
