**Update - Thank you so, so, so, so much to everyone, first of all!! I have met my original goal of $1,412, received the bulk of what I couldn't afford, but have other little-bitty cost I didn't factor in before like $200 formal breakfast/dinner and other fees like baggage fees and about an .08% fee this site will be taking... if you'd still like to help, but not too worried. More importantly, I have recommendations for my fellow Nat'l Dels who are in my 3rd Congressional District and are still in dire need of funds. I work alongside them, particularly being some of the main engine components when the Sanders Campaign set up shop down here in Vancouver. Hi my is name Dan Manna Phommathep. Most know me as Manna. So, a National Delegate had to drop out of the convention and, short story, I'm the one that the delegation voted for to replace!
I'm raising money for hotel cost and airfare.
- My stay is from July 24th til the 29th.
- It's $329 for a hotel room, per night, and for six days, with Philly's .08% sales tax, will total to about $2,125. I intend and hope to at least share a room with a fellow delegate, so that cost is cut in half to about $1,062.
- Airfare is averaging just about $600-650 right now, especially if I'm trying to arrive timely enough to make it to the opening of the convention and gather my credentials!!
I got like $300 to contribute from myself to start off with, before going broke paying my usual bills, so the cost gets down to $1,412! Can you help me?! A last-minute, extremely willing and dedicated delegate who's been dying to work on the biggest platform?!
I can't be grateful enough for your help. And I'm trying to think of a clever way to re-pay you guys... and I think I know just the cool idea. For everyone that contributes to this fundraiser, I will make them an Associate Producer to my film project I plan to attack at some point in the near future! (It's about to be the longest Associate Producer list in a movie ever!)
