Jandré - Missions trip to America

HI!
My name is Jandre van der Walt, age 25, and currently living in Jeffrey’s Bay, South Africa. I am passionate about making a difference in the community, in Youth, Adults and especially children’s lives. I attended Victory Gap Year from 2013-2015 and in my second year, I had the absolute privilege of having my first International Missions trip to Denmark and Sweden. We saw how God moved in such powerful ways in and through us, and we counted it as such an honour to be a vessel in God’s Kingdom.
I currently serve as one of the leaders at my local church, Victory Church, in their Children & Youth Ministry and this is where I discovered my purpose, destiny and my passion. I really love to serve this generation, as I believe they are not only the next generation but the NOW generation! They are able to make a difference now in their communities, family’s, schools and friendship groups, which will have a ripple effect into the future.
Since 2014, God has laid it on my heart to travel to a few other places, as Washington DC has been one of them. I am planning on embarking on my Missions Trip from 6 - 23 September where I will intern and volunteer at the NCC Church at their Children’s Ministry and various other ministries, and also volunteer at the DC Dream Center. The Dream Centre’s mission is to inspire youth to dream big, and to equip them to reach the potential God has given them! Here I will be teaching the youth various new skills! I currently work as a Photographer, Designer, Videographer and Social Media Marketer and also finishing my Degree in Theology - I will be volunteering alongside the leadership to further enhance their mission, learn from the Leadership, to see how God’s Kingdom can be advanced in their community and most importantly - to serve the children and youth and see where A difference can be made. I am also hoping to bring back to South Africa a few other ‘tools’ that I can use at my local church!
My goal is to raise $800 more ($1300 in total). This will cover my flights and also other expenses. I would like to ask if you would consider donating (big or small) towards this missions trip. I would highly appreciate it.
Please also pray for this missions trip with me as I know that God has something spectacular in store which will advance His Kingdom further!
