My name is Tina, and I know firsthand what it feels like to have nowhere to turn. As a single mother and a survivor of sexual abuse and domestic violence, there were times in my life when I felt invisible — overlooked by the very systems meant to protect and support me.

Today, I want to transform my pain into purpose. I’m building Community Outreach Services: a Women’s Empowerment Center combined with a Community Mobile Salon to uplift those who, like me, need a safe space, a supportive hand, and a reminder of their worth.

This project has two powerful parts:

1. Women’s Empowerment Center

• A safe space where women can find connection, healing, and resources.

• Workshops, support groups, and empowerment events designed to build confidence and community.

2. Community Mobile Salon

• A trailer transformed into a fully functional salon.

• Local stylists will donate their time to provide free or low-cost services for community members in need — women rebuilding after abuse, single mothers, the homeless, and others who rarely get access to care.

• Because sometimes, a simple haircut or style is more than beauty — it’s dignity, confidence, and hope.

Why This Matters I’ve lived through the loneliness of feeling unseen. I know what it’s like to crave just one place to turn, one reminder that you matter. This venture isn’t just about hair or self-care — it’s about restoring dignity, creating safe spaces, and offering real support to the people who need it most. When we pour into others, we create ripples of healing and empowerment that transform entire communities.
