Eight years ago, Veronica Sandiford was diagnosed with breast cancer. She fought bravely, but cancer recently returned to her jaw and liver, precipitating a shockingly swift decline. Veronica passed away this week. 

She leaves her husband Harry and her two beautiful children Max and Tess alone and unprepared for the near and far future. For them, it is a loss that is swift and total; she was at the helm of her family and brought her optimism and love of life to everyone and everything she encountered. Harry and the kids are devastated. Becoming a single parent overnight has been overwhelming for Harry. We hope to ease some of the burden brought on by this difficult moment so that they can focus on taking care of one another.

We are also starting a GiveInKind to help the family with food and childcare, but the family is going to need substantial financial assistance. It’s hard to ask for help.
