Hello, my name is Bernie and I am the Chartered Organization Representative for Scouts BSA Troop 44 based in Cincinnati, OH. I have been involved with our local scouting organization for over 12 years. During this time our group of dedicated parents and community leaders have supported scouts and their families to embrace and live the Scout Oath and Scout Law. In short, we are building well-rounded leaders for the future.

Troop 44’s trailer was recently damaged in a storm and needs significant repairs before it can be used again. It carries the camping gear and supplies our Scouts rely on for campouts, backpacking trips, and fundraising activities. In recent years, our troop has grown from as few as six Scouts in 2020 to more than 25 scouts today. We need a larger, safer trailer that can support our Scouts and carry the troop into the future.

A new troop trailer typically costs $8,000–$9,000—more than our troop can cover on its own. Please consider donating whatever you can to help us purchase a new trailer or offset the cost. Every contribution helps. Your generous donation will go directly to the purchase and outfitting of our new trailer.
