Tony passed away earlier this morning at West Middlesex hospital with Alison by his side.
I have set up this donation page to help raise some money for Tony Bennett, his wife Alison and children, Samantha and Owen.
For the past few months Tony has been feeling poorly with what he thought was a chest infection that wouldn't go away - even with antibiotics. But a couple of weeks ago it was discovered that he is suffering with cancer of the oesophagus. It has enlarged quickly and and is now sadly inoperable and untreatable. This has all happened very quickly. His body is now unable to function as it should.
It is so sad...Tony is a good guy and his family are so loving and caring.
Those who I have spoken to have all said "If there is anything I can do to help please let me know"
Sadly there isn't really a lot practically that people can help with but we can help them with the financial costs.
I am asking if you can make a donation, however big or small, to help out with their ongoing costs (parking, taxis, food etc) and eventually to help towards Tony's funeral expenses.
I'm guessing most of us have not made arrangements for our funerals and the average cost starts about £5000
Tony and the family do not know how long he has left with us but we can help them prepare and at least make the cost one less thing that they need to stress about.
Tony and Alison are very private and DO NOT want this fundraiser shared on any social media.
