Hi everyone,

My name is Jaden Ellison. I’m 23 years old, and I’m reaching out to ask for help on behalf of my family.

We've been experiencing heavy rain this past week, and unfortunately, our roof has been severely damaged. Roof repairs are incredibly expensive, and we're currently unable to afford the cost. I’m setting this fundraiser up to help my mom get the roof fixed before the situation worsens.

Our goal is $20,000 — enough to cover the roof and hopefully begin addressing other damage over time. I’ve done what I can, even climbing up and placing a tarp over the affected area, but that temporary fix is no longer working.

Some of you may remember when I started a GoFundMe in the past to help me graduate from Howard University. Thanks to that support, I was able to walk across that stage. I’ll never forget the kindness that made that possible, and I’m so grateful.

Now, I’m asking for help once again — not for myself, but for my mom and my three younger siblings. Any donation, prayer, or share of this post truly means the world to us.
