Helping them to succeed

Hello my name is Ixchel Salazar, member of the group of Volunteers of Helping Them Succeed, we are a non profit organization that helps migrants, immigrants and homeless people in the boarder city of Matamoros, Tamaulipas.  This started back in the 2010 only helping migrants, the founder Glady Cañas is my mother who has always seek to help the homeless in every way possible. We are currently focusing on Immigrants from different countries such as Brazil, Cuba, Honduras, Guatemala,Nicaragua and Africa that are currently coming and waiting for asylum at the bridge in the side of Matamoros, Tamaulipas while they wait we try to make their stay a little better, we bring them water, food, hygiene utensils, somewhere to sleep in and whatever they need and it´s on our hands  so that they can subsist until immigration give them asylum. The funds will go to all the people that need our help such as somewhere to sleep, food, transportation, etc. Our goal is to help these people who are in need and don´t have anyone to rely on while they are on this difficult and long process. I will withdraw the money here in the U.S to send it all the way to Mexico so they give it a good use for all of the immigrants. We have a Facebook page where you can see all of our work we do and also a video made by Mother Jones editors Noah Lanard and Mark H.   Watch this video to see a little bit of our work and help us on this kind and humanitarian cause!
