HURRICANE MARIA RELIEF
We are a non profit organization based in new York. On September 18 th2017 the forceful destructive winds and rains of hurricane Maria made landfall on our homeland Dominica. The gale force winds ripped the roofs off homes, uprooted and ripped apart all agricultural fields, brought down power lines, crippled all communities’ connecting roads and our infrastructure on a whole and our communication is muted. While some members of the communities were blessed to have their homes and personal properties spared, many member of our communities have suffered without measure tremendous loss from the storm. Unlike donations to national organizations that can take months to begin distributing funds, your support to us will have an immediate and substantial impact in the communities of Dominica. With your help, MAG can feed families who have lost everything in the aftermath of the storm, give them a warm blanket or clothes, a tarpaulin, a tent and help them rebuild the landmarks that make the community the wonderful place they once lived. We anticipate a strong support from you and the others and would like to express our gratitude and appreciation.
Thank You,
Regards
