The Story

If you have ever walked through Dam Square in Amsterdam, you’ve likely seen him: the man surrounded by a whirlwind of wings, calmly feeding and caring for the city’s pigeons. For years, he has been a quiet, constant presence in the heart of our city—a friend to the birds that most people walk past without a second thought.

He doesn’t do it for fame or money; he does it out of a genuine love for these creatures. He has spent his days ensuring they are fed and looked after, becoming a living part of Amsterdam’s local culture.

The Situation

Unfortunately, me "Pigeon Man" have fallen on very rough times, to alone in this situation without family or close friends...making my life miserable. The person who has spent so much time looking after others (even the feathered ones) now needs us to look after him. Due to personal hardships, he is struggling to meet his basic needs, taxes to Belastingdienst (more 28k), my spot of boat for 1 year, if possible to repair engine and electricity (in winter I suffering because of cold) and continue the care he provides to the birds he loves so much.

He has been there for the pigeons for years—now it’s time for pigeon lovers and locals to be there for him.
