Helping the Fielder Family

Stacy Fielder has always been the kind of man who steps up — whether it’s for his family, friends, or community. He’s the one who shows up when someone needs help, volunteers his time and talents without hesitation, and loves people well. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

Recently, while trying to remove dangerous tree limbs threatening his home, Stacy suffered a serious fall when the ladder gave way. Though it could have been so much worse — thank God he didn’t hit his head or land on his back — the fall left him with a broken pelvis, sacrum, and left ankle. His pelvis and sacrum will have to heal on their own, and he will undergo ankle surgery on April 3.

Stacy is the sole provider for his family. He and his wife, Jammie, are raising their 8-year-old son, Jackson, at home, and their grown son, Jay, lives nearby. He works hard as a self-employed transportation worker, but these injuries will keep him out of work for at least three months, leaving the family without income during this critical time.

This is where the body of Christ — and the power of community — comes in.

Galatians 6:2 says, “Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.”

We invite friends, neighbors, and anyone who knows the Fielder family to help carry this burden. Every dollar you give will go directly to covering the basics: mortgage, groceries, bills, gas — the simple necessities that will help them stay afloat while Stacy heals.

The Fielder family trusts God to be their provider this season. As Philippians 4:19 reminds us, “And my God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
