Urgent help needed.

Sam and I have to take guardianship of our granddaughter, Addy, and must relocate.

We are in need of assistance with the lawyer, court fees, and relocation costs.

As of June 13th of this year, Addy’s father is no longer in the picture. We instantly lost half the income into our household. CPS has suggested that we gain guardianship as well as relocate. Now, this darling girl, Addy, has become the center of our universe.

Making sure that she has everything she needs and providing her with the best environment we can is the reason we are asking for help.

We have already found and consulted with a family lawyer. She has already helped to develop a plan in moving forward.

From the top, the retainer fee is $2000.

This does not include her hourly rate or court fees.

When we are able to relocate, we will be looking at first and last month's rent plus deposits, and any costs to transfer or start utilities in the new location.

Even if you are not able to help financially, any other offers of help, including prayers, are needed and welcomed.

For our friends and family who have already assisted financially, spiritually, and with babysitting, we are forever grateful.

We are living through extraordinary circumstances. To say our lives have been turned upside down doesn’t even scratch the surface. But our new family of three is remarkably resilient and our new family motto has become “we got this.”
