Dear Friends, Supporters, and the Entire South Florida Village,

Today, we come to you with a heartfelt request to support a family that has given so much to all of us.

As many of you know, Santonio and Monica Carter have dedicated their lives to lifting up the youth of South Florida through the King Carter Youth Foundation, a mission they carry out in honor of their son King, whose life was taken too soon. Rather than retreat into grief, they turned their pain into purpose, building something that has touched countless young lives across the community. They've quietly and consistently supported families in need, helped those facing financial hardship, and offered a hand to anyone struggling with the emotional and spiritual battles of life. They do this without ever seeking the spotlight, no headlines, no social media posts, just genuine care for their neighbors.

Now, they need us.

In the early hours of the morning, their home caught fire while they slept. Thanks to the alertness of their loyal dog and Monica's quick actions, they were able to get everyone including their children and their dog out safely. But their home and belongings were lost.

This couldn't have come at a harder time. The foundation was in the middle of launching its 2026 youth camp, continuing the mission they've poured their hearts into.

This GoFundMe is our opportunity to give back to the Carters, just as they have given to so many of us. We're raising $7,000 to help them secure a new home covering the first month, last month, and security deposit so they can get back on their feet. Anything raised beyond that goal will go toward furniture and other essentials they need to rebuild.
