As you know Danielle is 18 weeks pregnant expecting their second child a baby boy in December! at 14 weeks pregnant she found a lump in her breast. She went to her OBGYN after a ultrasound and biopsy she was diagnosed with Grade 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma. She has a long road ahead of her. First up she will have her first mastectomy In July, allow for time to heal. The next treatment will depend on what they find while in surgery. Then she will have the baby ( Little Michael) with a due date of December 3rd. After giving birth they are going to give her another 3 months to recover before going back into surgery for her second mastectomy as well as start the reconstruction process. The possibility of a hysterotomy is also on the table. This will be decided at a later date pending results. At some point along the way she will enter the chemo phase. This is going to be a long next year to year and a half for them. We have an amazing army and we are all here to help, support, and love them every step of the way. Danielle is currently off work and on disability until she gets threw this battle. They will get threw this. Thank you everyone for all of your LOVE and SUPPORT during this very difficult time.
