Matt and Jessye Alfred lost their home in Gig Harbor to a devastating fire yesterday. Their home was completely destroyed, and they lost everything they owned.

Thankfully, Matt, Jessye, their daughter Myah and their beloved family dog, Galoot, were not home at the time and are all safe. They had been out attending a community play when Matt came home early to find their home gone and first responders doing everything they could to battle the fire.

They are currently staying with family in the area, but they are suddenly without the everyday necessities we all take for granted. Funds raised will help provide immediate essentials such as clothing, food, transportation, temporary housing needs, and other expenses as they begin the overwhelming process of rebuilding their lives.

We aren't setting a specific fundraising goal. Anything you can give will make a difference and help ease some of the financial burden during this incredibly difficult and unexpected time.
