On April 14th, 10-year-old Verse Cox experienced an unimaginable loss, his father tragically took his own life.

Verse, along with his cousin Ayden and their maternal aunt, discovered him in their home.

This heartbreaking moment comes just three years after Verse lost his mother, his first love, to cancer. In such a short time, Verse has endured more loss than any child should ever have to face.

Verse will now be placed in the care of his maternal aunt, who is stepping in with love and commitment to provide him with a safe, stable, and nurturing home, just as his parents would have wanted. As she works to adjust and provide for Verse during this sudden transition, we are asking for support to help ease the financial burden and ensure he has everything he needs.
