Helping Sarah and her family make every second count

Hi, I’m Luke, and I’m fundraising for someone who means the absolute world to me.

Sarah is not just my best friend - she’s the kind of person who lights up every room, always puts others first, and is unwaveringly loyal. But if you’ve been lucky enough to know her, you’ll already know all of this.

On Mother’s Day weekend, life changed in the most devastating way. Sarah, who is only 42 years old, was diagnosed with terminal bowel and liver cancer. To say this news came as a shock is an understatement.

Sarah is married to Danny, and an incredible mum to Maddie (15) and Zac (11) – two amazing kids who are her everything. She’s spent her life grafting as a gifted hair stylist, always making others feel good. Now she and her family are facing the most painful, uncertain time, and they’re doing it on one income, with no life insurance to help carry the load.

We don’t know how much time we have left with Sarah. What we do know is that every moment counts. Over the past few days, so many friends, family, clients, and loved ones have been reaching out, asking how they can help. This page is simply a way to bring that support together - so we can ease some of the financial burden on Sarah’s family and give them the space to focus fully on what truly matters: making the most of every precious day together.
