My name is Kyle Evans, and I’m raising funds to support my father, Rob Evans, who was suddenly hospitalized after experiencing serious and unexpected health complications.

My dad has a history of spine issues, which were significantly worsened following a recent car accident and a fall shortly thereafter. His condition deteriorated quickly, leaving him unable to stand or walk. Doctors determined it was unsafe for him to return home, so he remained hospitalized while awaiting surgery.

During the pre-operative imaging process, doctors discovered lesions on his back that required immediate biopsy. These lesions were found to be cancerous, and he underwent urgent surgery to remove the cancerous cells. Thankfully, that procedure was successful. A few days later, he was able to undergo emergency spinal surgery, including a thoracic spine fusion (T1–T7) and a laminectomy.

My father has now been in the hospital for several weeks and will require continued medical care. Once discharged, he is expected to enter an inpatient rehabilitation program for up to six weeks to regain strength and mobility.

This entire situation happened without warning, and like many people, my dad was not prepared for such a sudden medical crisis. With no income during his recovery and mounting medical and living expenses, the financial burden has become a serious concern.

I am setting up this fundraiser to help ease that burden and allow my dad to focus on healing rather than worrying about bills. He is an incredible father and a huge part of my life, and I want to do everything I can to support him during this difficult time.
