For years, you've known him in different lights: perhaps as Rich Kelly, the incredibly talented guitarist and singer whose music has been heard in countless gigs, or as a senior instructor in the Martial Art of Awareness who has been a pillar of support across the I Liq Chuan community, generously sharing his knowledge with all of us. Above all, he is also a dedicated father.

Rich has always given his time, his energy, and his passion to the Zhong Xin Dao / I Liq Chuan community, his students, and his audiences. Now, it's our turn to give back to him when he needs it most.

Recently, Rich faced a sudden and serious health crisis, requiring major, unexpected open-heart surgery. While the surgery was successful, the recovery ahead is long and demanding.

Due to the severity of this operation and the nature of his work, Rich will be unable to return to his job—both teaching I Liq Chuan and performing his music gigs—for at least the next six months. This means Rich is suddenly facing six months with zero income while battling significant medical bills and all the stress that comes with a critical recovery.

We are aiming to raise money to create a vital safety net for Rich so he can completely focus on healing, without the crushing weight of financial worry. This money will allow him to rest and recover, knowing his family is secure.
