Helping Rebuild Mo-Co Families

**These donations are going 100% to building materials and tools to help these folks rebuild their homes!

This is a neighborhood off of 242 east in Montgomery County. These folks have suffered total loss. The amount of devastation that is still sitting right here in Montgomery County is beyond sobering and heart-wrenching. The mosquitos, trash, and utter loss nearly incomprehensible. Children with diarrhea and vomiting, as what one could only guess as a form of dysentery is setting in. A small camping tent and a sleeping bag is an upgrade to life; as their new outdoor beds lie next to mountains of garbage, filth and rubbish; which once consisted as the interior of their homes. The last time I visited River Oaks Road was on September 4th, and it has only gotten worse. The shelters have shut down forcing people back to this narrow road of devastation. Every one of these families make up the percentage of Houston Homes which didn't have flood insurance. What the immediate future of their lives hold, depends on the immediate charity and relief of strangers. We are thinking now we need building supplies, the way this community is getting rebuilt is at the hands of its residents. My heart is broken right now, this is our turf, these people are our community, let's help in every way any way possible.
