Mision de Vida Life Mission Corp: Gente Grande Elderly Services Coordination Program

We are excited to introduce "Gente Grande" Senior Health and Wellness, a program that coordinates services with empathy for the Elderly Community.

Did you know Puerto Rico is considered an old country? One-third of its population is over 60! If we concentrate on the San Juan area only, there are approximately thirty-seven thousand baby boomers.

So, how can we help this community the most?

We have a social isolation crisis on our hands. Most elderly people live alone and don’t have the skills or the support to coordinate their basic needs.

Gente Grande aims to provide coordination services for the elderly to make and keep their preventive health, medical treatment, exercise, massages, and physical therapy appointments. It also aims to help them receive education and counseling on health and wellness issues, healthy nutrition, technology, arts, and more.

This concept encompasses the well-being, emotional, environmental, intellectual, physical, occupational, spiritual, social, and financial dimensions.

We have a comprehensive approach to well-being, socialization, interconnectivity, and coordination of accessible, acceptable, and available services, all in one place!

We are developing a website to help coordinate services and search support directories.
