Helping poor families-City Patiala, Punjab, India
Donation protected
My father has been working with the local poor communities of city Patiala, Punjab, India for almost last 10 years. Initially, it was only limited to a particular community close to our house where the local school (even though it is a Government school, but we know how the condition is!) was upgraded with desks, benches and school dresses.
Now, in this virus situation when people have lost their jobs and it is so difficult to put food on the table, there are other major problems like no roof on the house or the old roof has either cracks in it or it is about to fall. So, this fund-raiser is specifically to fix the roofs of the houses of the poor people and those families who are unable to support their families in this difficult time.
For this initiative, we will need funds as soon as possible as the work is already underway. Please leave your questions in the comments section and I will be more than happy to answer those.
Below, I have attached some pictures of the houses which have been already identified.
[Update] Adding a case of Baldev Singh from Village Majri Akalian in Distt. Patiala. He is in coma for the last two years. His monthly expenses is around Rs. 20000/-. His father is a Beldar and is unable to support his son.

I am sure while sitting in an air-conditioned room these pics will make you think for a second, so please help.
Any donation helps! Thank you, donors. Your support is warmly felt.
