Helping Poor Black Families with Newborns

Hi, My name is Dajia Jones, I am a senior double majoring in Criminal Justice and Black Studies.

My platform is called Empowering our Future. I want to provide essential support to low-income black families with newborns, ensuring every baby gets a strong and healthy start in life through compassion, resources, and care. I chose this platform because since Covid a lot of families in our community have been struggling to care for their newborns. During Covid my sister was one of those people so it hits close to home.
