Helping Pat, Hope & The Forde Family Heal

Our kind and thoughtful nanny, Pat Payne, is doing the unthinkable. She's saying goodbye to her sister, Carla Forde, who she recently lost in a heartbreaking case of domestic violence while holding her heart together and opening up her home to care for Carla's three children, who've lost their parents.

For those who know Pat, she's been with our family for over eight years. In that time, she's been the example of kindness to our daughter. Seeing them hold hands crossing the street and giggle over shared jokes is a reminder of her warmth and compassion. Pat's enormous heart, strength, and resilience will help as she cares for her two nieces and nephew during the emotional journey ahead. We know she will provide for them as she does for her children, surrounding each with the same love, stability, and kindness.

To provide Pat and Carla's three children with a healing, new beginning, we have set up this page to raise funds for the realities that come with such a sudden and senseless loss – funeral costs, housing expenses, and crisis counseling.
