Helping Paige keep her kids

I am trying to raise 2500 for lawyer fees, my ex husband won’t budge on moving our court dates and I need 2,500 for the court which I was just told about and it is only 2 weeks away. I’ve applied for loans and got denied, I’ve asked family members I’ve applied for jobs I’ve done everything possible to raise the money besides this and I only have 2 weeks to do so. If I go to court without a lawyer I will loose custody of my children who have been with me since they were born. I’m not trying to gain custody to keep them from their father, he is able to see them as much as he can due to the military. I am trying to keep them to keep their lives as normal as possible and not having to be in daycare 24/7 because of their fathers work schedule. He barely knows our 2 year old son who is a mamas boy and would be destroyed if taken away from me. I am just trying to raise some money so I can go to court in 2 weeks and keep my children.


update: the paperwork I got from him and his lawyer was asking for full custody and me to pay him for child support. Now he is saying that he is trying and wants to do this without lawyers but on the other hand he has a lawyer. I get it he’s gonna say stuff whatever. I am here to raise money so that I can keep my kids at the end of the day that’s all I’m worried about. In order to do so I need to counter,  in order to counter I need to pay my lawyer and these are the fees and I need to counter even if he says no don’t worry I’m still worried and need to have a lawyer. He says he isn’t trying to screw me but says one thing to my face and another thing to his lawyer. He told me he couldn’t change the dates because of his lawyer and then just now told me he couldn’t because he is leave (which because of COVID all of this is online) leaving or not he can move the dates I’m not stupid. Another reason I’m afraid he is trying to screw me over would be that he in his paper work said that I would be getting the Jeep that “he bought me” which isn’t true the Jeep was his he bought it for him when he first joined the military and hasn’t paid for this Jeep since 2016 so it has been repossessed and he wants me to take that onto my credit which is complete bull and is screwing me in the end. These are only a few reason why I can’t trust that he won’t take the kids. I know he will say what he wants to each and everyone of y’all reading this but I know the truth, the court knows the truth and so does God and at the end of the day that’s all I care about. I just want to keep my kids so they have a normal life (I won’t be keeping them from their father he can see them as much as the military allows him to see them) but I don’t want to lose them or my rights as their mother.
