I'm Doyle, a local teacher living here in Plymouth. Many of you know me from around town, from school, or from community events. Today, I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request.

Due to recent changes, some of our neighbors have lost access to the SNAP benefits they relied on to feed their families. It’s a difficult time for many, and I believe our community can step up together to help.

I’m starting this GoFundMe to raise funds that will go directly toward helping families in need buy groceries and essentials. I plan to distribute these funds through trusted local churches, who are already connected to families in crisis and can ensure the support gets where it’s needed most.

I’m a local teacher and long-time resident of Plymouth, California. Many of the people I’m raising funds for are members of our local community—neighbors, families, and seniors who lost their SNAP benefits during the shutdown and are now struggling to afford groceries.

The funds will be transferred directly to me. I will personally use them to purchase groceries and essential household items for individuals and families in need. I’ll be working in coordination with local churches and community contacts to identify those most affected and ensure help reaches them quickly.

Every dollar raised will go toward groceries and basic necessities for local families who have temporarily lost access to SNAP benefits. This includes food, baby supplies, hygiene products, and other daily essentials. No funds will be kept for personal or administrative use.
