Helping Our Garner Family

Hey everyone!

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Jules! I live with the amazing Garner family and have probably met you because of them ;).

As many of you know, Tabitha’s father, James, is currently battling Stage IV cancer and, as one can imagine, a plethora of health complications/issues that come along with it.

Tab has been living in Alabama with her parents as their caretaker for the summer, handling the household, doctor appointments and such, making sure her daddy ends his race comfortably and well. She has taught all of us how to honor our parents in this season, never complaining and working tirelessly to ensure her parents are well taken care of… talk about bringing God the glory!

If you know the wonderful Garner fam, then you’ve experienced their generous hospitality, friendship and kindness. They give out of the abundance in their hearts, loving extravagantly and never hesitating to support someone in need.

With her family being 5 hours from home, there’s been much back and forth travel to spend time with one another before James passes. If you know Shaun, then you know he’s tirelessly working to ensure everyone is taken care of both here in Pensacola as well as in Birmingham- never complaining, always giving generously with his effort and time. As you can imagine, between working, traveling and making sure his family is “set”, there’s a lot on his shoulders right now.

I wanted to ask our family and friends if you’d consider coming alongside and supporting this incredible family in this season? I know that alleviating some of the financial stress is something that would make a remarkable difference, along with the prayers and reaching out.

If we can cover some of the daily/monthly bills so they can be present and peaceful with family, it would mean the world!

I haven’t said a word to them about this as this would be a surprise. They would never ask and I want to make sure they know this is just family taking care of family… cuz that’s what we do! Please pray/consider giving- we’d love if you leave your name and a little note too!
