I am seeking financial support to help my son and his fiancé spend time with their newborn, born August 1, 2025 (yes, my first grandchild, beginning a new generation in our family).

They are both employed, full-time, and earn barely enough to support their family, from day to day, week to week, and month to month.

Unfortunately, their employer does not offer maternity or family leave. They are planning on using their accrued PTO (Paid Time Off), which they are already halfway through and amounts to just over a week for each of them. The new mom is planning on taking a minimal 6 weeks and, after spending only 2 weeks with his newly grown family, he is planning on returning to a full schedule at work and seeking additional employment.

We are many, nurturing and nourishing as we can, from the fringes, but none of us can give them time of their own.

Please help, in any way you can, to afford them (close to a month for him and hopefully, quite a bit longer for her) relaxing into recovering from the labor, strengthening their bond with their little one, and finding the rhythms of their family unit, without the anxiety of needing to return to the grindstone.

This time is so important.
