My beloved sister, Marianita Del Rio, unexpectedly passed away of a massive heart attack at the age of 45 years old; leaving behind a husband, and a 13-year-old son in Puerto Rico.

 

She was working online from my parent’s house and at 2:00 pm, as always, my parents went to pick up my nephew from school so that she could continue to work without interruptions. In a matter of no more than 20 minutes of their return, when my nephew, who was the one to come in first, yelling: “Mom I’m here, I love you!” (“Mami llegué, te amo!”), what he encountered was his mother lying on the floor, already with a greyish color, deceased. Then enters my parents (my father is 81 yrs. old and my mom is 75 yrs. old), and you can imagine the grief, desperation, screaming, and agonizing moment.

 

Although his father will give his life so that my nephew lacks nothing, the reality is that the expenses are many and we want to help him as much as possible to cover his financial needs (health insurance, rent, school tuition, clothing, requirements for school projects, etc.)

 

For this reason, I ask that you open your heart to help my nephew Adrian get through these terrible times financially and mentally. Your prayers are also necessary. Any amount is appreciated. Thank you

Mi amada hermana, Marianita Del Rio, falleció inesperadamente de un infarto masivo a la edad de 45 años, dejando a un esposo y a un hijo de 13 años, en Puerto Rico.

 

Ella estaba trabajando virtualmente desde la casa de mis padres y a las 2:00 pm, como siempre, mis padres fueron a buscar a mi sobrino a la escuela para que pudiera seguir trabajando sin interrupciones. En cuestión de no más de 20 minutos de su regreso, cuando mi sobrino, que fue el primero que entró, gritó: "¡Mamá, estoy aquí, te amo!" y lo que encontró fue a su madre tirada en el piso, ya con un color grisáceo, fallecida. Luego entran mis padres (mi padre tiene 81 años de edad y mi madre 75), y pueden imaginar el dolor, la desesperación, los gritos y el momento agonizante.

 

Aunque su padre dará su vida porque a mi sobrino no le falte nada, la realidad es que los gastos son muchos y deseamos ayudarlo lo más posible para cubrir las necesidades financieras (seguro médico, alquiler, matrícula escolar, ropa, requisitos para proyectos escolares, etc.)

 

Es por esta razón que les pido que abran su corazón para ayudar a mi sobrino Adrián a superar estos tiempos terribles económica y mentalmente. Sus oraciones también son necesarias. Se agradece cualquier cantidad.
