Help my mom keep a roof over her head...

Hi, my name is Gabriel, and I'm fundraising for my mother.

My mothers landlord is retaliating against her for simply asking that basic amenities such as a running air conditioner and a broken water pipe be fixed promptly.

Since she insisted that things get fixed in time, her landlord decided to hand her a letter of non-renewal on her lease. She has until September 30th to find a new place.

My mother is a school bus driver for Miami-Dade County Public Schools. Although she does a valuable service to her community, she does not get paid a living wage. She will not have the money to move out by September 30th. To make matters worse, she has been without work for two weeks until school starts again on August 17th. Also, rents have shot up in Miami. Downpayments for apartments have skyrocketed, making matters worse for working people like my mother.

I am asking for any donation you can make so my mother can complete a down payment for a new place.
