My name is Skylah, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart. My 7-year-old daughter Anastasia and I are going through one of the hardest moments of our lives — we recently lost her dad to a horrible car accident. It’s been a painful time for both of us, and as her mom, my greatest wish is to help her through this loss with as much love, comfort, and stability as I can give.

Right now, I’m out of work so I can be by her side. At her age, she doesn’t fully understand everything, but she feels the absence deeply. I want to do my best to keep her busy with positive, fun activities, — things like crafts, little adventures, trips to the park, and moments that bring smiles back to her face. We're also planning on having a memorial for a celebration of life for him. These small joys help remind her that even though life feels different now, she is still a kid who deserves happiness, laughter, and light in her days.

The support from this fundraiser will help us with basic expenses while I’m unable to work, therapy that she now needs twice a week and also allow me to create these meaningful experiences for her as we both begin the healing process.
